Credit Reference Agency Information Notice (CRAIN)
When you apply for finance with Phoenix Funding Partners Ltd, we’ll carry out credit and identity checks with one or more Credit Reference Agencies (“CRAs”). This helps us assess your creditworthiness, confirm your identity, manage your account, verify the accuracy of the data you have provided to us and prevent fraud or other criminal activity.
We’ll continue to share information about your account with CRAs while you have a relationship with us. This includes details of payments made and any debts not fully repaid on time. CRAs will make this information available to other organisations that use their services. When CRAs receive a search from us they will place a search footprint on your credit file that maybe seen by other lenders.
If you make a joint application, your credit records will be linked with your co-applicant or financial associate until a disassociation request is made to the CRAs.
